The Team

Keith Menin

A resident of Miami Beach since childhood, Principal of Menin Hotels Keith Menin began his career in the hospitality industry at the front desk of The Shelborne Hotel while he was still in high school. Shortly thereafter, he attended The School of Hotel Administration at Cornell University and began to design his first hotel, The Sanctuary South Beach, at the age of 24. At 26, Menin had a new idea to convert a residential building on West Avenue, fronting Biscayne Bay to a hotel residence. Partnering with Morgans Hotel Group, Menin successfully created the impressive Mondrian South Beach. Menin has since developed Bentley South Beach, Raffaello Chicago, Shelborne South Beach (where he was employed at the age of 15) and his latest venture Regent Hotel & Gale South set to open December 2012. A portfolio that even the most seasoned hoteliers would be envious of, Menin has added restaurants & Nightlife to the list such as Vesper, Pizza Bar, Lucy’s Cantina Royale and Drumbar.

Jared Galbut

Regarded as one of the youngest, most successful hotel general managers in the industry, Jared Galbut is well-suited to his role as Managing Principal of Menin Hotels. Galbut grew up on Miami Beach and at the age of 15, began working in acquisitions for Crescent Heights, one of the nation’s largest developers of high-rise, multifamily housing and hotels. After receiving his degree in Accounting and Finance from the University of Miami, Galbut joined Keith Menin in the development of the Sanctuary South Beach. Following its success, Galbut relocated to develop the Raffaello Hotel; within four years, he became the youngest general manager in Chicago. Presently, Galbut oversees all hotel operations for each property within the Menin Hotels portfolio. These include Bentley South Beach, Sanctuary South Beach, Shelborne South Beach, Gale South Beach and Raffaello Chicago as well as restaurants & Nightlife such as Vesper, Pizza Bar, Lucy’s Cantina Royale and Drumbar.

Joseph Natale

Joseph Natale brings his years of experience in the hospitality industry to Menin Hotels as Vice President of Operations. Having graduated with a Bachelors Degree in Communications and a Masters in Public Relations, his career immediately started at Morgans Hotel Group’s Shore Club. Just three years later, he was sought after by the W South Beach to be part of their opening team as the Nightlife Operations Manager. In 2010, Joseph was presented with the opportunity to move to New York City to become the Beverage Director for LDV Hospitality. Finding a home in New York, Joseph spent the next year launching properties that he would ultimately introduce to Miami Beach. Partnering with Menin Hotels as the Food and Beverage Director, Joseph played a prominent role in reopening the Shelborne South Beach and its new restaurants – Vesper American Brasserie, Bar Tanaka and Lucy’s Cantina Royale, one of his New York City projects. His role as Menin Hotel’s Vice President of Operations adds Raffaello Hotel, Drumbar Chicago and Miami, Pizza Bar Miami Beach, and Gale South Beach to his already extensive portfolio.

Luda Chervona

Luda Chervona expertise in Revenue Management consolidates both her educational background (Master of Science degree in Trade and Economics and Master’s degree in Business Administration with emphasis on Marketing from Kyiv State University of Trade and Economics) and over 10 years of hospitality experience.

Her passion for Revenue Management started at the Cluster of Hiltons of Chicago included at that time 4 hotels: the Palmer House Hilton, Hilton Chicago & Towers, Chicago O’Hare Airport, and Conrad Chicago with 4,352 rooms together. As a Revenue Analyst she demonstrated her excellent detail-oriented and strong analytical skills with a strategic vision. She was a winner of a First Choice Service Award in August 2005.

Luda joined the team of a newly opened Raffaello Hotel in January 2007. Her understanding of the complex Chicago market made the positioning of the new hotel very successful. Within only three months she was able to place a comparably small hotel with just 171 rooms to the first pages of almost all internet merchant sites. Her strong belief in constantly finding new distribution channels ensures the hotel’s growth and capture of its share in the market.

Her revenue management strategies continually bring the monthly RevPar Index of the hotel between 98 to 119 points, thereby repeatedly making it to the #1 ranking in its competitive set.

Luda proved herself as a strategic thinker and an experienced (outstanding) negotiator who achieves positive outcomes and able to create and maintain fruitful relationships with business partners. She is a confident decision maker in high-pressure situations and dynamic markets. She likes challenges, believes in teamwork, creates professional and friendly atmosphere and enjoys sharing her knowledge and experience to her staff.

Marisa Marcus

After graduating from Florida State University with a Bachelors of Arts in Communications and a minor in Hospitality, Miami native Marisa Marcus, has been on the fast track. Starting with an introduction position as Account Coordinator for Bridgehouse, she quickly made her way to Account Executive working with national developers and real estate companies. Wanting to discover a new city, Marisa moved to Chicago as Assistant to the Director for the Chicago Office of Tourism where she focused her marketing efforts to domestic and international travelers promoting Chicago as a premiere leisure travel destination. Eventually she missed the Florida sun and jumped at the opportunity to work for the esteemed Knight Foundation to help launch the new Arts division. After completion, Hi-Gloss Design sought after Marisa, where she gained additional marketing and advertising experience as Account Executive, representing clients such as the Waldorf Astoria Orlando, Hilton Bonnet Creek Orlando, the National Hotel and Fontainebleau Miami Beach. Now her priority and focus is the Menin Hotel Group as Director of Marketing.

Stacey Bernstein

After receiving her degree in Fine Arts, Bernstein decided to turn her focus on fashion. After landing a coveted intern position with Ocean Drive Magazine, in their Editorial Fashion Division, she was hooked. Her passion for fashion had begun. Bernstein quickly moved from an intern assistant to photo shoots, styling and learning everything she could about the fashion world. After a year of devouring her experience she launched her career beginning with The Ford Modeling Agency as an Assistant Fashion Stylist. Bernstein took that a step further and merged her love of the classic historical men and woman with her love of art and architecture and developed a unique fashionability.

Continuing as Fashion Stylist for The Ford Modeling Agency Bernstein moved to Chicago, IL to expand her client list. Traveling to New York City, California, Miami and other major cities for Vera Bradley, Latin MTV, celebrities and more Bernstein not only found her passion but continued to take it to new heights.

In 2007 Bernstein ventured into the hospitality industry and began styling for the Sanctuary South Beach Hotel. Her focus was to incorporate her fashion senses to make the employee uniforms and designs unique and classic.

Having recently moved back to her hometown of Miami Beach, Bernstein is back to where it all started. She is now the Style Director for Menin Hotels, incorporating her passion for fashion into the Raffaello Hotel in Chicago, the Shelborne Hotel South Beach, the Bentley Hotel South Beach, the Sanctuary Hotel South Beach and Menin Hotels exclusive Guy and Girl boutiques. Once again, Bernstein has brought uniqueness and a design edge that is classic and Sober chic to The Menin Hotel Group.
